No tears from me. The only thing I like from Toyota are their "mid"-sized pickups. And, I'll believe it when I see it. The FJ has been on the chopping block for quite some time.

The Wrangler is doing very well for Chrysler, no worries.

That's a huge loss for the of road community. NOT

Aside from some YouTube videos I have never seen one of these off road. Makes a good mall crawler I suppose.

Toyota said shortly after the debut that the FJ would likely only last one model cycle. The platform the FJ is based on is being replaced with the new Tacoma, due shortly. Too bad on the Tacoma, I'd rather see a smaller Hi-lux based pickup for the U.S.

I've always loved Toyotas. I had a 1985 4Runner and a 1985 FJ60 Land Cruiser. As far as I'm concerned, the last good Toyota 4WD in the United States was the 1997 FZJ80. No Toyota solid front axle truck has been available since, and that's exactly why I now own a Jeep instead of a Toyota; I refuse to buy an IFS faux-by-four.

Toyota discontinued the FJ a few times in the past couple years..... But only for a few months.... I used to own one and I'm a member over on Tacomaworld forum to get in for for my dad's Tacoma. It will be like it was never gone. The FJ is going nowhere

X2. I honestly don't see how they have made it this long. I rarely see them on the road, at least in my area..
