Default Traction control help.

I live near a very bumpy hwy and about once a week while driving it my traction control light turn on. I will try turning it off and on but that's not it because when I do that the all that happens is the light for that button turns on and off and the other stays the same

Sounds like it is just the road causing it. Two years ago while on a run in Arkansas Ozarks with four other JKs, we crossed a rough bridge and my light came on. I commented on the CB about and the guy in front said his had also come on. Then a few seconds later one of the Jeeps behind me crossed it and his came on! They all went out after a few miles.

Thanks. That's what I figured. But I wanted to make sure.

If the traction control is actually activated while driving, the traction control light on your dash will flash and will go off when traction is re-established. If the dash light is coming on, and not flashing, that is a warning that there is a issue with the traction control system and it is throwing a code.

The traction control switch is a way to shut off the traction control system, but Chrysler does not completely allow the system to be completely shut off unless it is in 4wd Low. All the switch does is reduce the sensitivity of the system.
