Thinking about getting a new 17 jk unlimited. What do you think fair trade in would be for my 07? Rust on door hinges and rock sliders but otherwise pretty good. 72000 mi dual tops, auto, alpine stereo with sub, 2 1/2" lift, 33" MT ATz. Looked it up on KBB but was wondering about others experiences when trading in.

 

Don't expect anything from your mods and really you may be better off putting it back to stock if you still have the parts or can source them cheap on craigslist. I would expect a trade in value of around $10k what is KBB saying? You may be better off with a private sale as most dealers don't want 10 year old vehicles and will send them right to auction.

 

KBB trade in value was just over 13,000 in fair condition. Thanks. Figured wouldn't see much for mods. Have some of the original parts but most are gone. Some things to think about.

 

A year ago I traded in my 07 Unlimited X for a 16 Unlimited Rubi Hard Rock. The dealer gave me 10,500 I believe. Had similar mileage, but did have hail damage on the hood. As Dirtman said, it went straight to auction and they sold it. It was sure a nice down payment though for the HR.

Nice. Ended up making a deal on a Gobi colored 2017 Willys edition. Still in transit to dealership. Got $2000 of sticker and $13000 for mine. Thought it was a decent deal. Can't wait till it comes in.
