As in this Nathan train horn?

http://s1.hornblasters.org/products/AH-K5/img_2495.jpg

or this Leslie Tyfon A-200 train horn?

I liked the description of the Leslie.

"The Leslie Tyfon A-200 is a huge old fashioned railway horn. First produced in 1930s, this horn is literallyl [sic] a blast from the past. This horn boasts one of the loudest and deepest notes possible. If you know much about horns, you'll know the wider the throat and the longer the trumpet the deeper the note. This is the definition of this horn.

This horn itself is very rare and although popular on railways in the 1940s is virtually never seen in use in modern times."

I once knew a girl like that.

I have a set of Nathan's that I purchased from a trucker for $150. They are LOUD! They are currently at the farm waiting to be installed on our caboose. I bet the horns weigh about 20lbs just by themselves, it has a 1/2" fpt port for the air. I love scaring the sh!t out of my buddies with them.

All I want is a single low pitched truck air horn. Real low. But I can't find any....at least none with sound clips.

I've been comtimplating something like this as well especially after this weekend. Living in the RV and boathauling capital of the world no one goes anywhere near the speed limit on the highway since they blow 80 grand on a boat and haul it with a ford ranger.....would love to have something set their nerves off for a couple of miles till they pull over:synister:

I have a 24"Grover fire engine horn, to me it's low enough, you might wanna look at tugboat horns.
