Default Treadwright tires?

Has anyone ever used retreads or bought tires from treadwright.com before? Looking for some input if they are worth it and safe.

I would run retreads if it was an off road only rig. Other than that? The little In savings, isn't worth the loss in safety.

I had them on my last jeep and loved them I had them for 28k miles they did great and wore really well. For there size you can save a lot of money especially with the 33 and 35 in tires.

Ok for one thing Treadwright tires are not "retreads", they are remolds, and there is a big difference. Retreads just slap on new tread, Treadwrights are a Bead to bead remold process, which is far superior to the retread. I have had mine on for 12k miles through all kinds of terrain and have no complaints. I had the same reservations as you at first but then did a lot of research on the "Treadwright" process. I like paying less than half the cost of a comparalble new tire. They have most sizes up to 35" and one 37" that uses 16.5 " wheels. If they would come out with a 37 x 12.50 x17, they would have a customer for life.

if it is truly "bead to bead" remolding, why does it still have "Nitto Terra Grappler" stamped on the sidewall? Would this not be changed in the remold process?

Last time I checked, bead to bead was only on the 315s. The 33s were re-capped.
