Full width bumper would not have helped with this hit. Only the head hit the grill. The rest of the deer was flung down the side.

Sorry to hear about the damage to your jk, at least you are unharmed, and the damage can be fixed.

On a lighter note that video, "Worst hunter vs dumbest deer" made me with every shot

Seriously???? Was he trying to miss the deer??? Worst hunter in the world. I can't believe the deer didn't take off after the first round....

I use to work on occasion at a military bomb range. The dear did not care that A-10 were strafing over them or that bombs were dropping. It was a sight to see.

When I cleaned the Jeep up yesterday looking for other damage, I did pull the door off to make sure the hinges weren't bent. It was the first time I had take the door off and was surprised how easy it came off after hearing about some of the trouble others were having with their JK doors. I never had trouble with past YJ or TJ doors.

I found deer hair stuck between the tire and wheel.

I saw a stuffed head of a 40 point buck today! The conservation department here had it. It looked like it had some bad genes! The rack was not normal shaped at all.

Dropped the Jeep off for repair today. The shop owner is keeping it parked inside for protection and is even going to paint my shackles (at no charge) to match the rest of the Jeep.

Full width bumper would have likely resulted in the same damage. Deer's head hit just above the bumper and then rolled down the side.
