Hey guys,

Is it true that the seats on the jk are uncomfortable and awkward?

 

The seats are fine, but the headrests suck.

 

I'm a big guy, and I love the seats. Firm, loads of support.

man... people can not give the JK a break....

the seats are perfect... the headrest are that way for safety, along with alot of other add on's the TJ didnt have.,

 

I just got my "Consumer Report Magazine" and they bashed the hell out of the new Wrangler. When are they going to stop comparing this to all the other SUV's out there. THE SEATS ARE GREAT! I alway's tell people you will either love the Wrangler or hate it.......know what you are buying before you get one. It's not a BMW...Volvo or......... it's a freakin Jeep! And I love mine.

 

Don't get me wrong. I love my JK! I have had an incredible amount of fun with it. But I reclined the seat back to take a rest and the head rest does not flex or allow any comfort without the addition of a pillow for your neck.

Ive actually slept in my JK 3 or 4 times and i cant do the front seat cause of the damn head rest, but that back seat even in the 2 door is almost perfect. it feels like a little couch when i need to rest my weary head. lol Seats are incredibly comfy for driving. I drove 18 hrs non stop with no problems at all. The headrests just suck for sleeping is all.

 

I'm a big guy and I have no problems. I do wish the seats were slanted back a little. When you hit the brakes too hard you kinda submarine forward.
