Have you considered just opting for a '12 or later with the Pentastar instead of sinking money into a stock '08? Get a Rubi with 4.10 gears and you'll be in very good shape for most of what folks do off-road. Or are you planning harnessing that V8 to some 44" tires, D60s, and doing some competition rock crawling?
