Value of 2011 JKU Sahara Tan Modified
I am debating buying the new JL Rubicon. What do you think a fair market value for a California vehicle would be with following stats. Minor off road use. Tracks on rails at 80mph on freeway and can be driven with no hands or one finger with the current setup. Its an Auto Transmission.
1) 2011 JK Unlimited in Sahara Tan (very rare color including hard top) with 72k miles and motor was replaced under warranty at 49k miles so 3.8L has only 23k on it.
2) Regular maintenance with newer radiator and silicon hoses.
3) AEV XT 2.5 Suspension with Geo brackets and track bar relocation.
4) Fox ATS 2.0 SS
5) Black Call of Duty Wheels with 285/75/17 Toyo AT2 (almost 35") and Spidertrax Spacers
6) AEV Front, Rear, and Tire Carrier.
7) Gobi Stealth Rack
8) 4.88 Gears with TruTrac in the Rear Dana 44 (front open Dana 30)
9) Rear Seat Recline
10) Loaded with power windows, locks, Alpine sound system, Saddle Leather Interior
11) Hot Heads Liners on the roof and side windows
12) Call of Duty Side Rails
13) JE Reel Front 1310 Drive Shaft
The jeep is in good overall condition. Trade in value stock is around $22k on just 70k miles not taking into account newer motor. Would $35K be reasonable ask with all the goods? Thoughts appreciated.
I am seriously debating a 5.7L Hemi swap/ Ripp Supercharger on this or going with a JL 3.6 with Auto 8 Speed Rubicon so before I install some other modifications I would love some feedback.

35 is an insanely high number in my opinion. The fact that it's the 3.8 hurts more in resale. I would think almost every one would opt for a new or late model sport instead of your modded 2011.

Thanks for the responses. Guess there are some crazy people in California. Craigslist has some big asking numbers for 2011 and older jeeps with modifications that are less costly than those on this jeep.
What would value be in if I put a 400hp 5.7 Hemi in with a 5 Speed. Sales I am seeing with similar mileage are in the $50k range. I have the Jeep Speed Shop nearby.
New JL with the options I want is around $55,000 plus tax so puts it over $60K.

Man, my 2012 jku sport turned 6yrs old today. I only paid between 29 and 30k for it. It now has 98,000 trouble free miles. Maybe i should drive it to California and see if I can get what I paid for it!

What people ask on craiglsist and what they actually get are two different things. Jeeps do go high out here but I se some crazy people listing stock tj's for $20k. Paying someone to put a hemi in it just flushes more money down the rat hole.

Agree with the above. Although you modified a bit to your tastes, that stuff is really not adding any extra value. You'd be better off pulling off things like the bumpers and sticking factory back on there....cuz you'd get no more/less for it, but could sell those items for something. IMO, $35k for that would be redonk.....not to be rude. My buddy just traded in a 2015 JKUR with 2.5" lift and 50k miles in pristine condition. Dealer gave him ~$32.5k, relisted it for just under $35k, and currently has it listed for ~$33.8k after a couple weeks. Which would you rather have? I'd put your value probably around $25k for the right buyer. Lifted jeeps are a dime a dozen, and it's about finding someone that values the mods you have or puking it to a dealer.
If it were me, and it was paid for, I'd keep the thing and enjoy it. If you just have to have more power, add a RIPP or whatnot. If the engine was way older and everything else was in good shape....that seems to be when swapping engines makes more sense. In your case there's nothing wrong with the engine and it has years of life. Throwing money at a JL just to have new is waste of funds IMO.
