Default Washing motor?

I haven't gone on any trails yet, but would like to hit the Uwharrie trails some time this year. I look forward to get the jeep dirty, but wondered about cleaning it up afterwards. What do you need to do to clean the motor? I know that mud and everything has to get up in there, so is there anything you have to be careful with when cleaning all that up?

an engine is completely sealed, the only way water can get in is threw the air intake. all long as you watch out for it, you should be fine. As far as I know.

Dont directly spray at electric components.

And I usually give it some time to air out before I fire it back up again, but that might just me being paranoid.
