On my 2011 Rubicon Unlimited I put new wheels and tires, aftermarket front and rear bumpers, 2.5 lift, and Warn winch. I am still going, but do love the 2011 over my 2009 "X". Have fun and enjoy your ride.

First of all congrats and welcome to the forum!!! Also, I think the first thing any jeep should get is a lift and new tires, then you can build from there

Which model (Rubicon, Sahara or ?) did you get ?

For me, I had a 2010 JKU Sport, my first mod was rock rails followed by trading it for my current Rubicon (meaning lockers, D44's, 4:10 gears or better and so on) .

First mod for me was adding a skid plate.

Favorite was adding a CB - did it all myself - wired the electric to the back of the cigarette lighter - and it all works perfectly. I am good with a wrench... and good with electricity in the house, but I had never touched anything electric (except replacing batteries) in a car before.

That is enough patting myself on the back for today.

Do the Drill-the-mirrors mod so your shiny new doors won't get ugly greenish-white streaks of corrosion down them.

I opted for the sport model right now as I am stationed in germany, but I have a bad habit modifying anything I buy. I didn't want to replace something I paid for. Thanks for all the welcomes. Oh and also I got the 4 door cause of the wife and two boys, but I think with time I can make it look and perform like some of the beasts that you guys drive. Keep the mods coming, i need ideas!
