I bought my 2010 and with 700 miles I tore out the suspension and added the 3.25" lift and tires and wheels.
I did this expecting the dealer to gripe about the warranty and lift and they did. Just go into the lift with the plan that your dealer will not accept it and you are good.
Enjoy.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am thinking about a lift, but I have to find out what the military will ship when I move. I have been looking at alot of the security accessories that Tuffy offers. I was wondering if people could show pics of their accessories. I appreciate the ideas everyone.

Pace yourself, it's more fun that way. I took mine out stock, wheeled it , and it did great. When you do mod it, you will notice the difference. Here are my mods in order:
1. drilled the mirrors to let the standing water out.
2. rewired my garage door opener to a concealed button on the dash.
3. upgraded my stereo to a nav unit
4. GOBI rack with lights
5. set of Rubicon wheels & tires
6. ARB front fender
7. Pure Jeep rear fender
8. Rubicon shocks
9. ???
It's never-ending!

Congrats on the new Jeep. I have a 2010 sport and I started really small. I peeled off all the warning stickers, painted the antenna black, then the jeep logo black. Noticed the mirrors were oozing filth water so I took them off and opened up the drains and drilled an extra weep hole. I Found a set of used quick disconnects on the forum, fixed em up and threw em on. I Got the IPF headlight replacements from northridge because the factory lights are trash. Start slow and get used to what she can do all natural, then spruce her up a bit as time and money allow. The best part of taking your time and feeling it out is that you can do tons of research and hopefully prevent rework. At least that's what I tell myself since I'm always stashing away pennies for the next mod.

then i bedlined the rims and grill (very cheap), and traded my full doors in for halves.
