That plastic protective air flow thing on the bottom of the front end that people remove because it easily gets ripped off when off roading. What’s it called?

I never knew that it actually added that type of function. I just thought it helped keep weeds from getting caught up underneath when driving through fields on the farm or was there to help increase gas mileage for aerodynamics.

Indeed interesting. Always thought it was mainly aerodynamics as well, but didn't think anything about the effect it had on the radiator. Learn new things every day.

I removed mine years ago and am thinking about putting one back on if it’s better for the Jeep to have it. Jeep’s getting up there in miles. I want it to last.

I had a AEV bumper and tow bar kit for it installed around five years ago. The air dam had to come off. I have never observed any change in engine temperature, 12 JKR.
