Default What a BONEHEAD!

So the wife and I are driving in the JK and as
we pass a punk in a toyoto 4-runner he yells out "poser". I slow down to
ask him if he has a problem and he says "yeah, I have a problem with
posers in new jeeps that are afraid to get them dirty". He said my jeep
was to clean to have ever been off raod. So I asked him where his jeep is
because I don't consider 4-runners ORV's. He says it's "back in Ohio" to which
I reply "don't run your sh!t eater unless you have something to back it up with.
I also invited him out wheelin to show him what a "poser JK" can do. Of
course he refused my invitation. The funny thing is this was 2 days after I
took this photo of my "poser" JK.

People are idiots. Still waiting for my first run-in with a JK hater. I do notice I get a lot less wave backs than I did in my TJ, and it was mostly stock to.

Poser............

But seriously that's a great pic. No posers there. It's a shame that some people jump to conclusions and the lack of respect to be so vocal about THEIR opinion. Good you gave it back to him, too bad you couldn't get him to come along.

Reminds me of a guy I know In another thread here I was lightheartedly joking about sparkling clean never off road monster trucks and Only-in-my-Jeep set me straight and explained that many of those truck owners wheel them regularly. And being proud of their rigs, they obviuosly clean the mud off after they are done.

EDIT> And like PiginaJeep said you are talking about a brand new vehicle. Shouldn't you take care of it when you get off the trail? It's easy to jump to conclusions and some people are just asses. They can't help themselves.

Currently, I am pretending to be a poser until further notice.

My buddies gave me a hard time, but now I am the trail leader 9/10 times that we go wheeling as a group! I am yet to be called a poser, then again when I park next to jeeps I am usually more modded then they are(TJ,YJ,XJ, it doesn't matter).

I still think it's too clean.

I've never understood the people that will hurl insults at a complete stranger because they think they are being funny. This guy has no idea who you are. What if you're that guy who's wife just left him last week for another woman and this morning you got the phone call that your Father passed away and your house is about to be foreclosed on. I'd leave that guy hell alone because he's likely to bash your skull in just to feel better about something. lol

There's some boys around here you just don't yell out insults too. I could easily see it going some thing like this.

"Poser!"

"Target!!"

lol

Leave people alone. Sheesh, who cares if the guys Jeep is clean. That just says he takes good care of his Jeep.

What a douche.

As we were leaving GWNF last time, we passed a 4 runner. He promptly gave us all the finger as we passed each other.
