Anyway as I walked away I heard the one say "Mine was made in America, it was made in California" Then the other guy replied "Mine too, It has California Emissions, so it was made there too"

My Jk has California Emissions so does that mean it was made there too? I thought all Wranglers were made in Toledo, Ohio.....

According to wikipedia the only plant in California opened in 2002. Did toyota start making the older models again?
Toyota Tacoma's are made in the NUMMI plant in CA (joint venture w/GM) since '95.

I know wranglers are made in Ohio. I was being Sarcastic.

What isn't funny was the guys really believed what they were saying. One of them might have been an 95, But one I know was older than that. I just don't know my years exactly on a toyota. Never cared to pay that much attention.

LOl, i have a very aggressive personality on the road too. Going from the evo to the jeep was a shock in the acceleration dept...I mean the jeep is slower than a lot of minivans!

I had some guy flip me off for accelerating slow already. He should be happy he did not stop at the light with me........

[QUOTE=j&k'sjk;426014]So the wife and I are driving in the JK and as
we pass a punk in a toyoto 4-runner he yells out "poser". I slow down to
ask him if he has a problem and he says "yeah, I have a problem with
posers in new jeeps that are afraid to get them dirty". He said my jeep
was to clean to have ever been off raod. So I asked him where his jeep is
because I don't consider 4-runners ORV's. He says it's "back in Ohio" to which
I reply "don't run your sh!t eater unless you have something to back it up with.
I also invited him out wheelin to show him what a "poser JK" can do. Of
course he refused my invitation. The funny thing is this was 2 days after I
took this photo of my "poser" JK.

Sounds like jealousy...the kid wants a JK so bad, he is pissed at everyone who has one. (Armchair psychology is my speacialty...lol)

To prevent this, as soon as I buy a Jeep, I immediately drive it into the nearest lake and never wash it again, throw the doors and top in the dump, and tale a 5 lb sledge hammer to all the sheet metal. Can't have anybody thinking I'm not hardcore!
