okay, im ordering my cb radio tmrw. and im plan on gettin the 4' firestik antenna.
i have the choice of the mount that is on the tire carrier or the one for the license plate.

will the one on the tire carrier affect the folding of the softtop or the future cargo rack?

what would u do?

 

I have the 4 foot firestick attached to the tire holder. Love it. I have no problem with the soft top, it is far enough back it no trouble. The bouns of the tire carrier is you get your high of the antenna even high to help range

 

I've heard that the ones on the license plate often get caught on tree limbs when off roading. I'm planning on mounting mine off the 3rd brake light, when the time comes.
