Hmmm. Haven't heard of that. Most guys I know just engage lockers when they really need them. Sounds hard on the axles.

Still running stock factory axles,u joints , just turned 100k on the rig. A lite foot and soft rockier terrain help alot. And seldom does a tire ever leave the ground.

I ASSUMED that since this was a lack of locker thread that most rigs would have a D30 upfront. I was mistaken!

Starting to think I don't need lockers. Maybe I can save up for the friggin expensive Gobi ranger roof rack after all!

Here's NWBronco's wife doing Firebreak 5 last time we went out in the rain. I did it too, but nobody got any pictures of me. But he is running 37's on a D30 with open diffs as well.

I wish I gad the ground clearance for that. It's one of the few things there I haven't done.
