what have you done to fix your transfercase clip?
just wondering if anyone has came up with any dandy fixes for the plastic clip that is so well known for breaking? I shift smooth and easy but its always in the back of my mine that it could break and leave me stranded. I was driving on a muddy trail today about 2 miles from home and thought the clip had broke, but it didnt, it was just being stuborn going into 4 low. anyway i thought i was gonna end up walking home. Around here we shift into 4 and hi alot so at some point i wouldnt be suprised if mine gives out on me.... so any good fix ideas?

Advance adapters has come up with a replacement shifter linkage to fix just that problem http://www.northridge4x4.com/proddet...prod=AA-715596
Personally I'd just go to dealers and buy a bunch of spare clips.

I ended up grinding the end off of one of the cable retainers so the grove in the acuator arm was exposed. Next I reinstalled the cable followed by a thin 5mm flat washer then two e-clips one was a 25 and the other a 30 I believe. Its been like that for a year and a half so far.
