what the hell 4WD.com
i ordered coverking seatcovers for front and rear seats for my jeep back on march 19th. i received and e-mail on march 29th sayibng they have shipped. on april 10th when i didn't receive anything i called 4wd.com and they said they were going to ship middle of the next week. i called on april 23 when i received nothing and they said they were going to ship that day. i just called now after not recieving anyhthing and they had cancelled my order saying they can't make them.
my question is..... if you can't make them.... WHY CAN I ORDER THEM THAT WAY ON UR WEBSITE!!!! best part is... somehow i'm not getting a refund... the lady on the phone had no idea what was goin on. and i'm super pissed! any suggestions?!?!?!

I am replying to my own thread for 2 reasons.
Reason #1 is that it now seems as though it may have been the "perfect storm" on the phone when i called. i now know the reason behind what i was told and why, the bottom line is, it was not 4wd's fault.
Reason #2 is that without bryan's help i wouldnt be posting this second thread backing up 4wd.com and their business. Bryan is definatly on his game when it comes to getting you answer. and he did so VERY promptly.
i am no longer a dissatisfied customer. i'm actually very impressed how 4wd handled this misunderstanding. because thats exactly what it was.

You need to go up the chain of command and try to keep your cool. Write down names of people you talk to and have all information pertaining to your order ready. No way a company can charge you for good or services not provided.
If all else fails dispute the charge on your CC, bank card or w/e your method of payment to get your money back and if it comes to that file a complaint with the better business bureau.

I had a similar experience. Spent 1400 and they could not tell me anything about shipping dates, or anything at all. I was disappointed with my transaction as well. Just tell me that you don't know and I can accept that but don't tell me tomorrow or one week when you have no clue. I will try Northridge 4x4 next time even though its a west coast transaction. Better to pay shipping with good customer service than to be ignored or lied to repeatedly.
Shoot Brian a PM, he is the 4WD rep for the forum, expalin to him whats going on, he will fix it..

Agree 100%!
I never ever buy on-line anymore...send either Bryan (Bustabizz) a pm asking for price and availability or David (Northridge) either way those guys will let you know what they have, cost and approximately when you'll see it...ordering on-line you get a canned reply saying thanks we took your money then the sound of crickets.

I have responded to the customer, just left him a voice mail actually.
This was not our issue this was Coverkings, they apparently lost there licensing for the Jeep Logo on the Seat Covers.
If any one does have an issue let me know.
Thanks for the props guys.

I've had nothing but good luck with Bryan as well. He's always been honest with me on pricing, and quick to respond. Looks like he's got this one covered too. This forum has been great for getting direct points of contact with vendors.
