What if..........?
What if Jeep came out with a model smaller then the old world war II Jeep? Small 3 passenger with a small 4cyl. engine that could get at least 28 city and 35 Hwy. It would have a soft top, would be full time front wheel drive and have part time 4Hi/4Lo. I'm thinking something the size of a Mini.
Most importantly it would be a beast off road.
Would you buy it?

We have owned 2 Suzuki "brutes" in the past. They were much smaller than a Samurai; 118" long and 51" wide. With a 2 cylinder engine and a whopping 32Hp, it wasn't the most powerful thing out there but you could fit it anywhere.
The ride is rough on the 75" wheelbase, and frankly not too much room for even a decent sized cooler in the back!! I'm sure modern technology could soften the ride but the short wheelbase isn't that great for rock crawling.
I'm not thinking too many folks would need something that small.

Pretty cool. Where did you own those, in the US?
