on my various trips. whether it me 15 mins to 2 hours I've had no complaints about the back seat. On most occassions I've had a full Jeep and no matter how long they're seated back there no complaints.

hmm, i guess it just depends on the people. I'm gonna be takin my jk unlimited on a 6-8 hour trip with a full car again on Memorial Day. I'll wait to see if anyone complains of discomfort and i'll get back to you guys.

The back seat for my Rubi Unlimited is pretty much for my black lab. I set it up the dog hammock and she loves it!

If you have a dog, check out this hammock:
<http://www.orvis.com/store/product_choice.asp?pf_id=535J&dir_id=1633&group_id =10576&cat_id=10577&subcat_id=10578>
It is safe for dog... he/she doesn't fall off the seat. Also, it keeps back seat clean.

I've never sat on the back seat (I'm the only driver for my Rubi!) so I have no idea how comfortable it is. My wife sat on it when we bought and she said it's about same as KJ (Liberty).

I've had no complaints with ppl riding in the back seat. Its a Jeep not a BMW.

Its not the same old engine out of the mini vans like most people think it is, its actually a designed engine for the Jeep.

The Commander's second row does have an adjustable recline, but most people dont know that it does, because it uses the same lever up by the head rest that drops it down.

Default 2 dr and 4dr backseat

All of my friens are so happy to be able to go off roading in the 4 dr - they could never comfortably fit inmy 2 dr -- still can't.

My wife got to ride in the backseat of the old wrangler 2 dr from atlanta to Lynchburg, Tn. She was not happy.

She's been in the backseat a lot in the Sahara unlimited and loves it -- no complaints about not having minivan seats -- it's a JEEP

You might be able to change out the bolts in the ft. of the rear seat mounts to longer ones and add spacers/washers to tilt them back.. The more you add the more it tilts..!!

I find my jeep has more leg room and back support in the back seat vs the BMW 330 I 4dr had before :toung: :toung:
