Default What would you do?

I have a 2011 black rubicon but plan to wait until I have worn out these stock tires (and used up my warranty) before I upgrade wheels and tires and lift it. Here's my question: Would you go ahead and replace the front bumper with an XHD with loop (and also the skid plate) now, or wait and do it all at once together? I really want to swap this bumper out, but I'm afraid it will look kinda stupid with the rest of the set up still stock.

Thoughts?

It will look fine. Its only a bumper. What would look stupid is if you got a lift installed and still had stock tires.

Everything is always a work in progress, so do what you have the budget for.

Yeah, you have a rubi so your tires are somewhat aggressive looking already.. I think doing the bumper now would hold you over until your warranty was out... new mod, new eye candy, go for it!! what brand of bumper?

I'm thinking Rugged Ridge XHD with the hoop and the skid plate.

Might as well do the bumpers. The Jeep will look better (and be tougher) even stock. And your likely to have 50k miles on your Jeep before wearing out those tires.

Personally, if you have the budget, why wait on the tires.

I did my tires and wheels ($1600), sold the tires for $400 and the wheels for $350. That made for quite the kickback. If you wait for the tires to wear, you won't get anything for them.

with 2011 I'd wait and just do bumper to get started.

by the time you're ready, maybe SuperChips will have their flashpaq working and all other mod prices might be lower!

take it out drive it, wheel it and if anything fails you're still good on warranty.

Mod it, break it and you're SOL on getting warranty work done

They come from the factory with a front rake. Adding extra weight up there will only make it more noticeable. Unless you are adding spacers at the same time, I'd consider waiting.
