So for me and I'm by no means heavy into mods I just tinker till I can afford to dive in for the really good stuff. (That is code for when my Wife mod who bought me my 2014 JK as an early retirement present agrees with me spending a Boat load of money on my Jeep.) so here is my favorite mod.

My Wife Mod complained about how dark it was in the jeep at night when you opened the doors and got in. She said she could not see any thing with the stock over head cabin light. My answer was to install day time driving lights. Cost is about 11 dollars for the led light strips off eBay, I solder the wires to the stock over head lights. The result was Wife Mod freaked out said the international space station could see the Jeep when the doors were open. So to again please the Wife Mod, I installed a small rocker switch on the front of the sound bar to control the front led light. I leave it in to off position and only when I need to see real well in the front seat area do I switch it on. Only The rear led light comes on when you open the doors or turn on the over head light with the column light control or you can just push the left light switch on the stock over head light and it will come on. Best mod yet.
