What is your earliest Jeep memory?
First was my son getting a Jeepster around 1980. Very cool jeep, but it got totaled when it was hit on the freeway and turned over sliding along on its roof.
Then getting my daughter a 1983 Wrangler in 1992. It was pristine, the yellow paint was factory perfect even on the underbody and in the engine bay. She didn't feel secure with the soft top after a while and traded it in on a new Civic.
Then four wheeling with my family when I had my Early Bronco's in the 1990's - 2000's and the family had full size Cherokees, Wagoneers, an MB and Scouts.
My first new jeep was a 98 Cherokee, great vehicle.
Then came my new 2006 LJ Rubicon and new 2012 JKUR.

Earliest for me was a family trip, I was maybe 16, went to the Borreego area and found a guy that had a bunch of war surplus Jeeps he
had fixed up and rented.
We rented one that was topless for the weekend and explored all over the area.
Made several trips back and always picked one up when we got there.

Bought a 1976 CJ7 in 1980 used and took it to Montana where my buddy and I installed a 300 hp 327 and a Turbo 400 in it over a weekend with a full roll cage.
Oh mama, that thing was lethal....... Took it back to New Mexico and ran the deserts and a couple of rallies.
Sold it and bought another CJ7 and built it.
I had only full size Chevy's before that and have been in Jeeps since then.
Built one from a junk yard in Panama after the military cut it in quarters........... What a blast that was in the jungle.

I was stationed at Biloxi, Mississippi in 1972. When the '73 CJ's came out the bride and I looked at a Levi's Edition CJ. It was $3200.00 on the sticker. I told her '' I'll never pay that kind of money for a new Jeep''.....Little did I know....LOL A new 'vette was about $4300.00. "course I was making about 8 grand a year as a GI.
