Wheel Bearings gone bad????

Unhappy Wheel Bearings gone bad????

2008 JK X
38k miles
3 in lift
just added 33's
and turned the rotors and replaced the pads
now i hear a squeaking sound from drivers rear
increases with road speed stops when brakes applied
hit a bump and i hear the squeak brakes or not
havent noticed anything in corners
if so where can i find wheel bearing and how much am i looking at
will replace myself

Put brake anti-squeal on all the appropriate brake parts before doing anything else. You can pick it up for about $1 at the auto parts store. If it stops the squeak, it's not your bearing. Unfortunately the anti-squeal is probably only a temporary solution if something else is actually causing it. Mine had a slightly bent axle shaft that caused this problem. The anti-squeal would usually last until I took it off road again before the dust and water washed it away. Good luck.
