what does detonator yellow actually look like? is it the same yellow that was offered on the 06's. is it available on the Sahara? If so, I'm changing my order!!

 

Detonator yellow is a bit more intense than solar yellow but not by much. If you want to see what it looks like in person, go to a dodge dealership and look for a new Charger SRT-8 in Yellow. It's the same yellow.

You can google image search it too, but those are hard to judge.

my 2000 solar yellow JK was stolen 16 days ago. after grieving, i started my research to check out new models. all info indicated yellow was a discontinued color until i found this forum and checked back with dealership. but they are telling me now that production on 2007s stopped in May and production on 2008s won't start til July. another dealership told me that i could order up to mid june. does anybody have any reliable info? i am committed to another yellow jeep but would prefer not waiting five months (that was the estimate from the dealer) if i don't have to.
