Where do you put your sunglasses?
So I just installed my Daystar dash panel and it works great for holding my shades. But as I was walking away from my rig, I realized those bad boys are sitting in plain sight for any old passer-by with sticky fingers and no conscience. I did some searches, but wasn't crazy about anything I found on the forums. So I'm just curious, where do you guys put your sunglasses when you're not in the jeep? Anybody have a pair lifted?
Here's a link to the holder thread I found.

If you have a nice pair that came with a case, throw them in the case and stuff it in the glovebox or center console.
Sometimes I just wrap the ear steams around the shifter and leave them there though.

I've got an old pair of serengeti aviator sunglasses that I bougth in the 80's that I'd forgotten about for long enough they are apparently cool again. When I'm not wearing them I put them in the case and put it in front of the shifter, at the base of the dash. In the 2011's and 2012's there is a small cubbyhole there that is just perfect for them. They are in plain sight but you'd have to kinda look for them.
Just buy a bunch of $5 shades and replace when stolen...?
No, I'm just kidding....like MrDill said, I just wrap em around the shifter....this way they don't go flying when I take turns. I also bought 5 pairs of them at $5, that's why I said that! lol... they might be cheap, but I love em so I got 5!

To be honest I quit buying the expensive sunglasses after loosing several pair. I started buying safety glasses that are shaded for motorcycle riding so that is what I wear in the Jeep. No one has stolen them off the bike or Jeep. When they get scratches I toss them for another pair.
After putting a glare strip on the top of my windshield I haven't been using my sunglasses nearly half as much as I used to so now they sit up on my grab handle. I just slide one of the arms of the sunglasses through the strap and they never get touched plus you wouldn't even know they were there if you looked inside the Jeep.
