I know that some Pentastars are made in Mexico, and some are made in Michigan. How can I tell where my 2013 JKUR's Pentastar 3.6 liter VVT was made?

My JKUR just got delivered, and I have not closed the deal yet. I would hate to find out that my V6 was assembled in Mexico.

it should say on the window sticker. it gives a break down of what was made where

The problematic heads were made in Mexico.There might have been quality issues with the alloys used in their manufacture. The manufacture has since been moved back to the US.

So 2013 Pentastars should all be Made in Michigan then?

Tranny: Germany

Anyone else out there with a 2013 Pentastar NOT made in Michigan?

I know that Pentastars are used in many different Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles; some in different displacements. I am just curious to see where all the 2013 JK 3.6 liter Pentastars are made? I could not get those specifics on Wikipedia?

Just picked up my 2012 JKUR yesterday. The window sticker says the engine was made in the USA

SWEEEEET!!! It looks like we have the same model and color: 2013 "Commando Green" JKUR. I have only seen mine in pictures so far, but look forward to picking it up in January.

Is there a way to plug in my VIN to call up my window sticker? It was peeled off my window when I test drove it because someone else had agreed to purchase it, but the deal fell through. I would have just thrown it away so I didn't bother to ask for it.

Unless there's another way to tell?
