Default White Letters in or out?

Dropped Jeep and new tires off at tire shop this morning and I told them blackwall out. His response "are they marked", I am a smart ass so I said "yes, the white letter side is marked with white letters". So we looked at the tires and he thought the Fierce white letters were cool and should go out. I explained that if tires rub on rocks(which I don't really do) the white letters will get all chewed up.....So my question is anybody running white letters out and was it a mistake?

I don't rock climb but I off-road plenty. Mine are white letters out and are fine after a couple of years wear.

Go by what you like.... I've only seen a couple jeeps that looked good white letters out. I myself prefer black out.... Just my opinion.
Get what you like... It's your jeep bro

I prefer black out too just because I was going for the all black theme on the wheels. Didn't want the look of the white lettering. Who knows though, it might look good on you jeep. Do what you want and not what others want you to do.

I already decided black out, I was just curious if anyone running white letters out had regrets or stories of tearing them up.

I actually had a 16 year old kid who thought he knew quite a bit about cars tell me my tires were mounted backwards because he saw the white lettering on the inside.

I politely corrected him. Good choice on the black side out.

Nah. Having the white lettering on the inside is the Jeep equivalent of turning your tie round so the fat side tucks in and the thin bit hangs out.
