I have to sneak mine out of the locked box on the mantle every now and then. They may have been disconnected (at her request), but it still feels better to have a swinging sack than a hairy prune.

I always had long discussions about spending money on modifying my vehicles. Constantly having to come up with excuses just sucked. Trying to find time to put the parts on was always a problem as well. Then I found one modification that changed everything.... divorce. Kind of expensive, but it was well worth it. Now my suspension and my life have all the flexibility they need.

I'm divorced too many toys is probably the reason. I just work OT to pay for anything I may want for my toys. I work, I pay, I play.

I find that every time I'm trying to justify a new mod, all I have to do is let my husband wheel it on just the right trail so I can prove my point...

"See honey, if I had xxxxxx we wouldn't have that problem."

When he put a major gouge in my sliders, "See honey, that's why I have rock rails...otherwise you would've put a big gouge in my jeep and then I really would've been mad."

Works every time! So if you see Bill behind the wheel of my jeep, you can bet that I'm usually trying to justify another mod.

I am wondering now if quick disconnects for "nads" would be considered a mod???? lol

Let's see: First married, I had a 1968 El Camino restored. Sold it a year later because it was not right. From that money, I bought a 70ish Austin Mini (classic) with a 1275cc motor. Sold it a few years later when child #2 came along. About 4 years ago, I bought a 1964 Morris Mini Traveller. I have been "restoring" it for 3 years now. I bought a 1986 Mini Cooper during this time, and the engine siezed after a few months. Sold for a loss beacuse of keeping the Traveller.

Now I have the Jeep. If she complians too much I just send her home: to Scotland. She says I spoil her.

Her: There are better things to spend your money on other than a lift for your jeep!

Me: But hunny, im the president of an offroading club, how does it look if I have the shortest rig going? Think of my pride factor? I think my sexual performace will be seriously affected due to self esteem issues...

Her: Here's my credit card!

.... 4" RC incoming!

Her: "You said you weren't going to buy anything for a while...........(real disappointment in her voice)

Me: ".....It has been a while {(thinking) couple a weeks at least}
