Well I am lifted on 35's and obvious trail damage and they didn't question throwing me a new transmission, so maybe we will get lucky!

Once upon a time....

My September 07 purchased JK had a lifetime powertrain warranty.

I do not think any dealer would honor it now.

Oh well.

I have it too, and I've used it.

I had a leaking intake manifold gasket. Oil was seeping out.

They replaced it, no questions asked.

My service manager even complimented me on my Jeep. We talked for a while about my mods, and off-roading. Real easy going guy.

To those who think they don't have this warranty anymore due to mods... What the heck are you guys modding? You got a Hemi in yours or something

Seems this exhaust manifold is a very common problem????

I did give some hard thought about losing the lifetime warranty before the conversion. And the dealer I use really does like my hemi Jeep, They have cut me some slack on labor charges and even minor replacement warrenty work. I would not dare try to abuse them.

Suprisingly enough, both the stock Dana 44's and even the stock driveshafts are still intact after 22k with the Hemi. But it is on stock tires/no lift.

I had a flyer about 2 years ago or so with Chrysler (not the local dealer) interested in buying back my Jeep. I am betting it was related to the lifetime power train warranty (little do they know heh) and the fact they would like to resell those Jeeps that have it, so they can get out from under honoring those warranties.

Ok,

Here is my 08 JKU Rubicon. I have my stock enginge/tranny/t-case, but that's about all I have left under my warranty.

2008 JKU Sahara - Lifetime Warranty & Lifetime bumper to bumper

81k Miles

So far:
Various soft top plastics that snapped and were replaced
2 Mygig radios due to HDD failures and NAV problems
Left Turnsignal Stalk
Right Wiper Stalk
TIPM
Wiper Motor Assembly

I'm losing oil somewhere and did the oil consumpsion test. I just add oil to it now, but eventually the cause will show itself, and I might get a motor out of the deal, or new intake seals - who knows. No spots on the driveway, no oil on the underside of the vehicle, and no coolant problems.

Mopar Lift, stock axles, 33" BFG ATs and AEV Wheels.
