Default Why all the SUPERLIFT Hate?

So here is my question, is the superlift hate on this forum because of issues actually offroading superlift kits? Becacuse then that makes sense and I understand. But I have a four inch superlift kit on billsteins and on my daily driver, and it is extremely smooth, it isnt rigid or bumper at all and it also isn't too soft, never bottoms out. It iss a super comfortable ride. Grandted I think I am going to upgrade soon and so something with a little more beef because I may start doing some more wheeling, but for a start kit, and for the price, I think I would recomend it to absolutely anyone.

Thoughts"?

I got super lift stuff on my jeep. The front adjustable track bar I got from them had the bushing for I'm guessing a TJ in it. It was wide enough, but the bolt hole was to small. I had to machine it out myself to get it to work. Frustrating to have to do something like that on lift day. My track bar also lacks a jam nut. I dunno if it is required or not. I really haven't had any problems out of it after that. The thing I really think is crappy is the swaybar disconnects. The threads could have been a lot better. The threads were banged up on it when I got it. I had an electric impact and a nut to make the threads work. I should have sent them back. It took about an hour of work to get them on and installed. My drivers side disconnect will loosen up after about 6 months. It sounds like I got a bad shock when I hit a bump if it is loose. The rock runner lower control arms are the best part. No problems out of them. I gotta say they seem to be nice quality and no problems installing. I got no real hate for superlift.

I've never seen any Superlift hate on here.

I had a 4" Superlift on my old 2D and never had any problems with it.

I haven't seen hate either. IMO they are just a value-priced kit. You can get more adjustability and higher end joints with more expensive kits but that is the case with most kits.

I've never seen complaints or "haters" with the kits.

I haven't really seen any superlift hate. Some guys run them here, they are not as popular as RC/TF/RK/FT, but no hate.

Now if you meant Skyjacker, well, that is a horse of a different color.

Ya.... Skyjacker, now that will make you want to punch a baby! I hate SJ. I had good luck with a Super lift 4inch on my TJ. Cheap to $400. With everything.

I have had Superlift suspensions on some of my Ford SuperDuty's and they were really pretty nice, but that was leaf spring technology. I don't think they market themselves as much in the newer JK market like Rock Krawler, Fabtech, AEV, Teraflex, Rubicon Express and tons more that we all know of. No hate here, but you start a thread with how much Sky Jacker is or isn't that great (you pick your poison) and see what replies you get
