Why do I hate calling it a "Wrangler"?

I never would have imagined that a sticker or name could raise so much passion.

Does anyone have any hearburn from the stickers on the door jambs or the name Fiat Jeep

apparently it really can, especially when someone else just doesnt care.

Im not trying to win anything & i couldnt give a rats ass about chrysler marketing 10 years ago or why or how it happened. I know what i saw, and continue to see driving around where i live with my own eyes, and thats all there is to it to me.

The one sided argument was amusing to watch for a little while.

Always refer to it as a Jeep. When people ask what I drive I tell them a jeep. Then they say what kind and I say a JK.

Agreed with an earlier post. I call other Jeeps by their actual preference: for example: Grand Cherokee or liberty or compass but the Wrangler is always the term JEEP in my book.

I'm not a canadian, but I did do a search for wranglers in the canadian autotrader.

I found 23 in alberta all made between 1995 and 2006. Hundreds were listed at TJs.
