Why do I hate calling it a "Wrangler"?
I'm in with the majority here. Brand names have real value because of their regognition. No doubt "JEEP" has lots of recognition. Chysler milks this value by tagging the brand onto other vehicles, al la Commander, Cherokee, Liberty, etc. I believe thats why the added moniker "Wrangler" is used to set the classic jeep apart from the others. Wrangler doesnt seem to add value to the "JEEP" Jk as much as the "JEEP" name adds value to the other vehicle lines.
As far as I'm concerned, my JK (and TJs, CJ's etc ) is a real JEEP. Everything else with the JEEP name is a car or truck.

I know what i have seen over the years, your wasting your typing skills trying to drag me into a worthless argument, no matter how big you type it or what source you supposedly cite. I dont care what any of it says, i know what i see with my own eyes.
as i have already said, twice: whatever you want to believe.

I'm with you. Now what are we arguing about?
Anyways, I rarely ever say "Wrangler"... This is "The Jeep". And the lady has a Patriot. And that is "the second car"...
paper or plastic?
or bi-sacksual?

We have a Jeep and a Vue. So it is usually Mommy's Car, Daddy's Jeep, or well, ... Mommy's Jeep depending on who is saying it.
