Default Why doesn't my JK leak?

After reading all the posts, about leaking JK's, I'm feeling excluded.
This is my first JK. However, it is my 6th Wrangler ( 5 softtops and 1 hardtop ) and none of them have ever leaked.
I hate to jinx myself.
Maybe it's that I never had a 4 door. Are they more prone to leaks?
I'm not gloating. I just felt like posting something positive about Wranglers.
BTW, I'm not a person who just accepts " It's a Jeep Thing ". I demand quality in my vehicles.

I didn't think my leaked either until I kept hearing about the front floor boards getting wet, so I checked after a heavy rain storm and sure enuff between my weathertech floor liner and carpet it was wet . I ended up taking the front carpets out completely but there was no water beneath the carpet ... I'm thinking I'll have to get my door seals fixed

I've been through Hurricane Irene, and other very heavy rain, as well as washing, and I still don't have any water under the mats or anywhere else.
I've become obsessed with checking, since I began reading so many posts about leaks.

yeah, I first noticed it on my drivers side after hurricane irene and thought no big deal but then a week later there was more heavy rain and my passenger side was wet... I guess I'm lucky in a way because my carpet was only damp... i've read about other members on here having 1-2 inches of water in their wranglers

that's good that you don't have any though

I have an 08 with factory hard top, no leaks. I have a bestop trektop for it also, no leaks.

I had my 97 TJ for over 4 years with no hard top, only a soft top to get me through all the canadian winters and mountain adventures I took it too. Can't say I babied it either, packed it away dirty, scratched up etc... only leak I had was where the stitching was sewed through the fabric in the rear where the metal frame makes contact with the fabric in the corner to hold it up by the rear window. $5 tube of tent sealer, stuck a little on the stitch and it lasted all summer, through the winter and into the following summer with no leaking (sold now)... So I've never had a leaking problem either, not complaining

Jack,
Any chance the water was some condensation type buildup under heavy rubber mats or that it got in when you opened a door?

Funny enough, I had a 2010 2 door and formed a small leak in the back corner of the hard top/tailgate, easy fix. I now have had my 2012 for 6 days now, heavy rain here in Mass was putting on my new seat covers, and guess what passenger side bottom near the seatbelt assembley carpet is damp. Any ideas? I have a hard top. Geez.

Very heavy rain here, too, for several days.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Are you sure water isn't getting in when you open doors?
I notice the JK soft-top doesn't have much/any rain deflection above the doors.

Be glad yours doesn't leak I have had mine at the dealer three times to fix and the clowns there can't figure it out. I just got off the phone with Jeep and they have submitted a claim for a new vehicle, they claim I should have an answer tomorrow we will see where this goes.
