Wilbur needs a checkup already
Ok just got Wilbur back home, and i am pleasently surprised i cant find any damage or anything wrong lol The R/O says Starting issue
Replace Cam sensor as per TSB 08/023/07 Balance $0.00
Wind noise at winshield
Road tested with service manager unable to duplicate concern as described
( manager went with me when i picked it up to verify, and i couldnt hear it either
)Warranty oil change as per service contract coupon (which they didnt take a coupon! so i still have 8 left! (2 years worth)
And to boot they did another recall which i wasnt aware i fell into
Recall campaign
G40 Reprogram EBC Module
Performed as per recall
I am assuming thats the electronic braking tsb that involves the issue with braking uphill?
Total balance due $0.00
Only complaint i had was the lube tech left a greasy thumb print on the side of the hood which the service manager made him wipe off without me saying a word!
Based on my visit i am very happy. I will report in a few days if the starting issue is indeed fixed
 Wilbur is going back to the dealership monday. For the past few weeks the soft top has progressively been leaking more and more. Couple days ago i opened the door and it felt kinda heavy....realized i had a solid icicle running from the top down into the window and thus filling the door with water. The entire door was a solid chunk of ice. Also had small icicles hanging off the INSIDE door handles
Past 2 days have been steady rain, and the interior is completely saturated. Starting to smell. Luckily i work at a detailing shop so i dont care about that. My concern is the dash tweeters and my remote start which is mounted directly under where the water pools on the dash.
The water has started to stain the plastic as well.
*edit*
The starting issue i mentioned above has been fixed by the camshaft sensor replacement. I forgot to post about whether it had been fixed

I made the appointment online last tuesday, and called 10 mins later to verify they received it. So i take the jk up there last night and put the keys in the drop box, with all the appropriate info etc. I call up here a few mins ago and they transfer me around about 5 times....
Finally i get the secretary, and she says...oh Mr Musselwhite, somehow our leak specialist didnt get the appointment notice and hes all booked up this week. Can we get you back next monday?
LOL i am not sure if i am more amused by this, or mad...
You have THAT many cars that you have a Leak Specialist, who is busy for an entire week?!

Unreal...and yes this is the dealer i bought it from. I feel like even tho i hate them, they DID sell it to me, so they SHOULD stand behind it and fix it, but this is un-freaking-believable service from a 5 star dealer.

I thought that was a jeep thing
Wearing hats with tags still on them
Kidding of course
