Hi people, looking to install a king one winch (sealed) just in case i would need it. I am an avid camper and drive lots of trails and cross some rivers (nothing hardcore). I have had some "close" calls and i will be installing the winch. Any one have any experience with king one winches? And what would i need to do to the suspension to compensate the weight of the winch?

 

I put a warn zeon 10-S on mine a couple of months back and havent done anything to the suspension yet. it still rides fine but with the added weight of a steel bumper and 80lb winch the front of the jeep sits about 1/4" lower. you could swap out the front springs with some heavy duty springs to compensate.
