Default Winch Power?

Figured this is the best place to put it so here's the questions. What kinda winch (if any) could pull a 1/2 ton pickup in park? Yes the purpose is pretty devious but useful for highly-contested parking spots. Stupid question? Probably

Are we talking a dry paved parking lot? You shouldn't need a winch, it wouldn't take a lot especially if the truck was in 2 wheel drive. It's going to make a lot of noise and you could potentially do some serious damage to the other persons transmission dragging it like that.

I think whatever winch you get you will drag the jeep not the truck.

Could require a tranny rebuild, could flat spot the tires, could cause damage to the axle shafts though that's not likely in a solid axle truck. Professional tow truck drivers cause damage sometimes and they know what they are doing.

If your thinking about doing it for a prank or if the owner is going to know who did it you may want to rethink your plan. You could end up liable for a big repair bill.

Not to rain on your parade but I don't think it's a good idea...

Smart move, just put a jack under right rear wheel enough to get the wheel off the ground, and then stand around and watch
