Windsheilds How Many?
Got a small crack on my windshield just a week after I got it.. From a BIRD! I literally saw it trying to escape the oncoming onslaught that was about to ensue, but it was too late. My poor windshield

Was told for the actual wrangler wind shield with the logo and all like 350 ish, but for a plain one would be half price, like 170. So my question to y'all is what wind shield did y'all install and what did ya pay?

3 hours after I bought mine, big lifted Ford threw a big rock into mine.
I thought it was chipped, took it into the shop but they said it was just a surface scratch and would be fine. Haven't had any problems since.

Dang... I got a break in the windshield about a month ago and got my second break last night. On the first break, I was on a roadtrip from Florida to Colorado and and managed to take three rock hits without a star or break before number four got me. It hit about 2 inches from the top edge and made a nice "J" shaped 5 inch crack. Last night, I was coming back from an awesome weekend of wheeling and less than 10 minutes from home, I took a single hit about an inch above the bottom edge of the windshield. Left a sweet 10" crack. It was LOUD and sadly - not in the shape of a "K." Would have been cool! Anyway, I think I screamed. Ha! It didn't bother me though... it's already broken from the other hit. I was glad I hadn't replaced it yet. Welcome to Colorado! I've been noticing all of the cars in town with broken windshields... Now, I look like I belong here.
On happier note, I did climb Tincup Pass (12,400 ft) for the JK's 1st-ever off road excursion without incident! I'll post a picture from the summit later on... It's still in the camera.

07... 73,000 miles... original windsheild... it has about 15 rock smacks and a crack going 70% accross side to side and a crack going verticle about 40%.. I think It's time to change it out. There is no such thing as keeping windows in Montana... they gravel the highways in snow storms so you always have bullets flying around... for about 6 months of the year. Now I have to take the snorkle off to get a new windsheild put on... I know as soon as I put it on... there will be another rock before a month goes by... just have to decide it's time to ruin a good windsheild instead of a bad one.
