Default Windshield cracked.... Again!

Just when I was about to replace my windshield... BAM! Another crack. At this point I'm wondering if I should even bother replacing the windshield if its just gonna crack after what only sounded like a lady bug hit it. WTF

Default Tension

Maybe you've got some sort of tension on your windshield.
My windshield was hit by gravel from a truck drivin in front of me.
That was 3 months ago and it still looks the same - no crack.

That's a good possibility. Maybe they changed something on these 2013 models or something cuz I haven't been too rough on her or anything

I have a friend who has a Nissan Armada that has the same flaw. She replaces the windshield and within a week the new one will crack. No one catches that many rocks. Must be some sort of pressure thing.

Dang third huh? I'm thinking of maybe mounting a high lift jack and shovel on a hood bracket to possibly catch the rocks from hitting my windshield.

The stock windshield on mine didn't last long and cracked several years ago. When I got the replacement, I followed a recommendation on this forum about getting a PGW branded windshield. It's been great over the years. It's gotten many hits from rocks, etc. So far all that happens is minor pitting in the glass. But no cracks.
