Work? What's work? I've been retired since age 50. And I didn't need advice from Forbes magazine to get me there, either.

 

I too believe the build quality leaves a lot to be desired, and is made worse by Chrysler corporation advertising the Wrangler in offroad environments, then encouraging dealers to avoid honoring warranty work.

If another automaker ever comes out with a RELIABLE doors off, roof off, straight axle offroader, Mopar could be in serious trouble with the Wrangler unless they change their attitude. And they will richly deserve it.

That said, I have been lucky with my 07, with virtually no problems despite abusing the poor thing.

And it is one of the funnest vehicles I have ever owned.
