Default wtf were they thinking?

Am I the only one that just scratches my head over why the freedom tops are white on the inside? Why not black/black? Is there a specific reason they did that?

its supposed to look "bigger" inside with the lighter color

heat probably plays a part too

is there some kind of paint on the top maybe its a money thing , cheaper to not paint inside black :confused:

Or why not gray to match the interior. What would heat have to do with the inside? The sun shines on the outside!

I suppose...Surely those smart guys at jeep could have figured a way to reflect heat while not making it look as white as my skin.

I like the white. It makes it look more utilitarian.

I agree with you i'm sure there is some type of refective coating .
