Stupid question. I've seen a couple pics of this winch in which the control box is positioned over the wire spool and also positions to the left of it. I'm referring to were it's mounted on the winch itself. Curious if it's moveable or just depends if you get a newer or old winch?

 

Its movable. Comes with brackets if you want to mount over spool.
