Default Are you thinking about buying from 4wheelparts?

Let me save you a lot of headache...pay a little more and buy from somewhere else. After spending a lot of money there I am pulling my hair out dealing with them to fix their error while STILL waiting for them to ship me the correct parts.

I have been wheeling for 20 years and I can tell you that I have never dealt with a parts supplier with worse customer service and an unwillingness to satisfy their customer.

If you have had a similar experience feel free to share it here so that others can be aware that they'll be better going elsewhere.

Horrible experience with the advice given by the 'subject matter experts' at the counters, and even worse experience with the quality of the work performed by the 'master' mechanics in back.

But - as long as you know exactly what you want, I haven't found the buying experience to be too bad.

Ya I've never had a problem with them either, plus they are local and price match. You can always contact David at Northridge4x4 or Joe at Quadratec and they usually price match too

I have had no issues with them either. Have ordered most of my parts through them and 4wd.com. They installed my 60s and a few other items with no issues. I have been very happy with the Austin store and Bustabiz at 4wd is great to deal with as well

It is good to hear the pros and cons. If not for this issue I think I would have a much better view of them. For now though, I think I will send my money elsewhere...especially due to the price matching.

Thanks for the feedback.

Good wheeling to everyone!

Have ordered little items from the local store. Bigger items I prefer northridge. I like to look around Rhee 4wd store and no issues so far for me.

They have worked for me. Matched or better prices on what I have bought, and in store the next day for free - that is quite hard to beat.

I don't think I would trust the "experts" either, but that is the case most of the time. Last time I went into the store here I asked about Tuffy (their cubby cover) and the guy had never even heard of the company. Ok, but instead of believing me he asked "are you sure that is for Jeep?"

Nothing to get in a tizzy about. You go to any store and unless you get lucky, you are going to be dealing with the same stuff. The research should be done by you, the stores responsibility is price, delivery, and returns/warranty. The do that part well in my experience.

from my experience if you buy from the local store it's a good deal but if you buy online it's not worth it
