Angel Peak, Nevada - 05/15/10
Justinmob, Vegassman, JKPete and I ran up Angel Peak today with some friends. Angel Peak is in the Spring Mountains near Mt. Charleston just 20 miles NW of Las Vegas.
Airing down.
The Mt. Charleston area still with snow towers above in the distance.
Mark getting set to lead the group.
Grapevine Spring
Grassy Spring
Mud puddle at Grassy Spring. Looks like oil!
The trail at this point follows a powerline road up to Angel Peak.
One of the toughest obstacles along the steep section of this trail.
Justin attempts the obstacle head-on.

Success!
Dan in the old Wagoneer having carbeurator trouble.
Giving an idea how steep this is.
Justin walking up the steep trail.
Perfect weather for having the doors and tops of the jeeps.
View looking at the lower elevations and the north side of Las Vegas.
At the highest point on the trail.
Observatory on top of Angel Peak.
Still some snow left at these elevations.

It was a great day!
I know huh. We were all thinking the same thing.
Thanks Eddie! It was my kind of outing.
That it does. I almost enjoy taking pictures as much as enjoy the driving the trails.
