Default Anza Borrego “Squeeze” – How Tight?

Can a Wrangler JK Unlimited with 35 x 12.5" tires go through the Anza Borrego “Squeeze”?

Cool The short answer is "yes"

I have taken my '98 TJ on 35s, my 08 JKU on 33s and my 12 JKU on 33s through the Anza Borrego "Squeeze." Each time I have scrapped the right side fenders and hard top while in transit. (Chicks dig body damage) The average width of the Squeeze is about six and a half feet, but that's not the problem. While in transit, maybe 25 feet long, the trail drops about 10 feet and the tracks on each side are not even so you spend a lot of time off camber aka tilted, to one side or another. I have seen many JKUs transit the Squeeze without a scratch, but I am not among that number. I don't know where you live, but I make two recommendations to you. (1) Stay out of the desert from May through October due to the high temps - 101 to 109 for the next week and never go alone. Take another Jeeper with you, preferably someone with a winch and recovery gear.

I only got a scratch on my right rear fender flare. Not too bad. Look up vids of the squeeze and the next obstacles, Heart Attack hill.

Cool Not a chance

Action Camper, (aka Eric)

Your Action Camper modified JK won't fit through. BUT, if you decide to try please send me a PM so I can come and watch.

Action Camper - that's a good looking Jeep "truck" - I like it!

25 years ago there was a LOT of paint on those rocks, from drivers who mis-judged. I can't imagine it has gotten any easier over the years...

Better have a very good spotter. It's very unforgiving.

Thanks for the flowers. I design / produce the conversion, Teraflex sells it.
I'd rather believe it got worse over the years because vehicles get wider every model generation.
My front width (Teraflex HD axle) measures 80.5" my rear 81.5". Looks like I gonna rub a lot, if I even can "squeeze" trough.
