Okay, I drove from the spot this happened 130 miles NE with the last 20 miles of that journey in 4H on an ice packed road going through state game lands with no issues.

Some people however really need a defensive driving course. Save your pride and joys, if the trip isn't vital don't do it!

Drive safe folks, unfortunately a Jeep was hurt in the posting of this thread!
