First Moab Trip
After having Thanksgiving dinner at our house the wife and I decided to make a quick weekend trip down to Moab for the 29-30th to relax and try a few trails we've read about.
First up was Elephant Hill and I've gotta say we really enjoyed the trail, very fun with some great scenery:

The next day we decided to hit up Onion Creek followed by Rose Garden Hill (Top of the World was also planned but we ran out of daylight)

As we were coming down the road to Rose Garden Hill we ran into some ranchers that were driving some cattle down the road so we pulled off to the side to let them past... unfortunately cow's are pretty dumb and thought we were part of the drive so they preceded to pile up around us until the ranchers got closer and had them run toward and past us. Kinda scary to have that many cattle running full bore at you...

Onto the main event:

We eventually made it to this point near the top of the hill, about a 4 foot ledge with soft dirt above, I was able to get the front two wheels up but not enough traction to pull the back end up:

Lucky for us a Jeep group from Colorado had collected at the bottom of the hill and after they managed to get up we were able to get the winch hooked up to them and get a quick pull up and over:

Airing up and then off for the 4 hour drive home...
