Garibaldi Gulch, CO - August 2008
Earlier this month, the family (from Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Texas) got together in Keystone for our annual family get-away. I had read about Garibaldi from another JK poster and decided to plan a run since it was nearby and seemed a pretty easy trail to get started with. This would be the first real off-pavement adventure for my stock X (other than firewood gathering this summer).
Turns out I had to make 2 runs since everyone wanted to come along. It was an amazing trip and I wish the camera could do justice to what we saw. The mountain goats were cool and very curious.
It was amazing to see the "mountain ridge highway system" that seemed to run on forever along the tops of the mountains; so much more to explore here!
