I know there are lots of good trails out by Kerrville. Don't know the exact locations anymore haven't been there in many years. I would look for local clubs in your area for more info. You can search on Bing for 4x4 clubs in your area and it should bring up all that around there. That is how I found the one that I joined out here.

Just head south on 37 and in 2 1/2 hours you can test it out on PINS!

Closest one is out there near Medina Lake at Cline Ranch. You can look them up on the web. Maryland is my "Home away from home" for the time being (Military) San Antonio is actually my real home though. At least I have Rausch Creek Off Road Park a couple of hours away

Check out Hidden Falls Park in Marble Falls. http://hiddenfallsadventurepark.com/ It is a great place to learn and do some wheeling on the weekend. Then head to Big Bend, or Colorado.

Threadsurrection. I'm down here in San Antonio for a couple weeks and would love to hit up some ORV sites/ trails. Is there anything within an hour or so?

What's The deal with the Cline Ranch? Can't find anything on them.
